Grace Pettis Shares New Single ‘I Take Care of Me Now’

Nashville-based singer and songwriter Grace Pettis shares her brand new single I Take Care of Me Now, a cool country/indie song taken from her upcoming album, Down To The Letter, out on June 14th via MPress Records. 

 

I am really enjoying the tone of her voice and how expressive and dynamic her vocal delivery is, gliding beautifully over the infectious production. Written after Grace Pettis (with much painful deliberation) divorced and made it through to a place of strength and solid ground, I Take Care of Me Now is an optimistic, anti-codependency anthem that most of us can relate to. Apart from her vocals and effortless storytelling, I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar riffs seamlessly paired with steady drum patterns and delicate organ keys that come together to create an overall upbeat, feel-good atmosphere.
