Arizona-based singer and songwriter Nikki Hayes has just shared her brand new single Same One, Different Face, a warm, soulful piece of Contemporary R&B. 

 

As soon as I heard the first few seconds of this song I knew I was going to love it and had to share it with you guys. This song radiates so much warmth and soul, creating such a comforting, soothing atmosphere perfect for those moments alone with my thoughts. Nikki's siren-esque, soulful vocals and echoing harmonies are incredibly hypnotic and glide effortlessly over the laid-back production. Apart from her lush vocals and nearly whispered verses, I am particularly fond of the killer bass which is seamlessly paired with timeless synths, delicate guitar plucks and lashings of reverb that come together to create a nostalgic ode to the complexities of love.
