St Lundi Shares New Single ‘Different Houses’

St Lundi, the moniker of British singer and songwriter Archie Langley, has just unveiled his brand new single Different Houses, a truly honest and heartfelt song about his experiences growing up through his parent's divorce. 

 

Out now on Good Taste Recordings, Different Houses is lifted from St. Lundi's debut LP The Island, which is set for release in September 2024 and produced by Matt James (one half of M-22 and producer of Tom Gregory). I adore those rich, expressive vocals that sound both vulnerable and powerful at the same time, beautifully drawing us to his relatable storytelling while creating such a heartwarming atmosphere. You can clearly feel the raw, honest emotion pouring from his passionate vocal delivery which is wrapped around a captivating production that allows for listeners to truly focus on his voice and storytelling. 

 

Different Houses touches on the sadness of such separations, but also has a positive message about how although the family is living separately, they are still a family, just living in 'different houses'. A powerful message that is wrapped around lush acoustic guitar plucks, delicate piano keys and percussive elements that create an overall warm, emotional atmosphere perfect for a reflective weekend home alone.
