Cloud Heist Unveils New Single ‘Waking Up into the World’

Cloud Heist, the moniker of Danish singer/songwriter Jacob Reinhardt, shares his brand new single Waking Up into the World, a hauntingly beautiful piece of acoustic/folk music. 

 

Taken from his new EP, Machinery of the Soul 2, Waking Up into the Word finds the talented artist pouring his heart out and singing about wishing you could go back to a simpler time. A song many os us can relate to as life isn't easy and at times all we want is to escape to a time where things were more peaceful and simple. Jacob's smooth, expressive vocals are such a pleasure to listen to and they are packed with so much soul and emotion that is impossible not to fall in love with that voice. I am also very fond of the dreamy harmonies and how his vocal delivery soars beautifully over intricate acoustic guitar riffs seamlessly paired with haunting cello strings and steady beat that together create a warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for an introspective day home alone.
