Irish singer and songwriter ROE has just shared her brand new single I Can Change, taken from the first half of her much anticipated debut album That’s When The Panic Sets In.
Out now via The Music Federation, I Can Change is a direct, witty and painfully relatable indie-pop track about saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. I am really enjoying the tone of ROE's vocals and how confident her vocal delivery is, gliding beautifully over soaring guitar riffs and punchy drum patterns that create an overall energetic, feel-good atmosphere perfect for the summer. Speaking about the song, ROE said,
Every now and then I lie awake at night feeling guilty about something that happened 5 years ago, or thinking about what I should have said instead of what actually came out of my mouth. This song is about an irrational need to please everyone and the gut-wrenching anxiety I get from being human.
