Speaking about the song, Tanner Cherry said,
it was written during a very transitional time in my life, sold my place and started to travel the USA exploring life and myself. Hiked mountains, lived in cities and visited family during this time - I went through about 10 different choruses before settling on the one, after a friend had sent a partial verse melody to me in 2020 that this was built from. Overall, it’s a song exploring the hardships of worrying in life while trying to find peace in a very chaotic & confusing world that can keep you second guessing and disengaged from living your best life until it’s too late.
