STVN & Thomas Ng Drop New Single ‘Shadow Man’
Following his gorgeous collaboration Somebody, with Aubrey Toone, Philadelphia producer and songwriter STVN (Steven Alexander Chen) has teamed up with Hong Kong-based producer, singer and songwriter Thomas Ng to deliver a lovely new single titled Shadow Man.

I was first drawn to this song thanks to the smooth guitars in the intro that set the pace for a chill piece of pop music. STVN and Thomas deliver here a song about that feeling we have when we fall in love with someone and just want to be with them all of the time. Thomas has quite the smooth and dulcet vocals that infuse the song with a lovely touch of soul and emotion. Shadow Man is one of those songs perfect for a laid-back weekend or for those chill bedroom sessions and its chill, nostalgic lo-fi vibe will get you hooked in no time. Check it out below!




Speaking about the song, STVN said,
My friend Thomas and I wrote this song together, from opposite sides of the world. We were both on college holiday break, and he was back home in Hong Kong, while I was in Pennsylvania. Over FaceTime, we wrote this song about the feeling you get when you like someone so much, that you want to be with them all of the time. The idea of being that a person's shadow was brought up, and in no time, Shadow Man was born.
