Aubrey Toone & STVN Unveil New Single ‘Somebody’

Philadelphia-based singer and songwriter Aubrey Toone has teamed up with fellow Philadelphian producer and songwriter STVN (Steven Alexander Chen) to release a gorgeous new song titled Somebody.
This song once again showcases Aubrey's lovely, dulcet vocals over STVN's infectious pop production. The song is quite relatable as it talks about being with someone and how that person makes you feel like "somebody" important. The whole song sounds natural and effortless, like Aubrey and Steven were just talking about feelings and then the song came to be. I am loving the effortless, laid-back atmosphere of the song, with its production beautifully enhancing Aubrey's vocals and storytelling. I listened to the song once and got hooked, and the more I play it the more I want to listen to it and I think you guys will enjoy it.
If you're into a smooth, laid-back piece of pop music with beautiful lyrics and infectious melodies, then you'll love Somebody. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Aubrey said,
STVN and I wrote somebody at his studio. We came into the session really wanting to vibe off each other and create something people could relate to, but also just have fun with! He started making a beat, and the first lyrics and melody “they asked what do you like about him? I said it isn’t life without him,” came into my head. He started laughing at the subtle humor in those lines, because he had written some lyrical ideas a few days prior that said “I know I can be a little bit over dramatic, but I’m obsessed with the habit, of loving you.” And after that, the song basically wrote itself. There is nothing like being with someone who truly makes you feel like “somebody” and we hope this song makes you feel happy too!
