Half Measures Shares New Single ‘Kids’

Half Measures, the moniker of Californian singer and songwriter Zak Fennie, makes his musical introduction with the release of his debut single Kids, a song that explores themes of childhood nostalgia, youthful ignorance, innocence lost, and the experience of growing up in a post-9/11 world.

I am really enjoying his smooth vocal delivery and how it flows effortlessly over the synth-heavy production that gives somewhat of a retro touch to the song. I am a sucker for nostalgia-infused songs and I think we can all relate to the song's message of looking back to those days when everything was simple, and we had no cares in the world. It's a beautiful love letter to lost youth and you can check out its official music video below!

Kids is taken from his upcoming debut EP, Kids Ride Bikes, produced by Bay Area rapper/producer SAVEGABE and that will arrive this Friday, September 27th.
