Bout & Raie Drop New Single ‘Where You Go’
Italian Funk magicians Bout have teamed up with super talent Raie to deliver a killer weekend anthem titled Where You Go, out now on Bmkltsch Rcrds. As soon as I pressed play I knew I was in for a treat. Loving the piano keys in the intro and Christopher Burke's soulful vocals really made the song stand out even more. I couldn't stop moving listening to this gem and I instantly knew it was going to be one of my go-to Saturday night songs.
Where You Go is a Funk-infused piece of Electro-pop/Future House music with groovy guitar riffs, killer synths and lots of soul. It's an earworm of a track with a feel-good atmosphere perfect to get you dancing in no time. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song Raie said,
The story of this one goes all the way back to August ’18, when Stefano from Bout sent me a raw demo of the record. I was mesmerized by the piano (which you can still hear at the beginning of the song – we had to keep it), and suggested working on it together because I loved the idea so much. I thought everything about the track made sense and spoke to me as an artist – the harmonies were spot on, the vocal was well written, casual & relatable, and the sounds we would use were very close to what I’m doing. So we bounced LOTS of versions back and forth and finally ended up with the track as you hear it now – and about 8 months later here we are, finally putting it out, which is thanks to BMKLTSCH and a massive credit to all the boys who we’ve worked on the record with – Stefano and Andrea from Bout, Ollie and Josh who wrote the vocal, and Chris who performed it.
