Canadian indie-rock singer-songwriter Mike Edel has just unveiled the official music video for this brand new single Challenger, produced by Death Cab for Cutie's Chris Walla. The song is a beautiful, smooth piece of indie-rock with somewhat of a hypnotic melody and soothing vocals. The captivating music video was directed by Jordan Clarke and features footage of the space shuttle Challenger tragedy. Watch it below!
The song recounts that 1986 tragedy as an effort to help understand our present social and political complexities including, #MeToo, the Trump presidency, the Kavanaugh hearing, Colin Kaepernick, and Charlottesville.
