I was drawn to this song thanks to the highly infectious electronic production that has a tropical/summery vibe to it. His smooth and distinctive vocals flow effortlessly over the catchy beat and Breanne's ethereal-like vocals add a dreamy atmosphere to the song. Speaking about the song Galen said,
When I first started writing this song, I was kind of weighed down by the amount of division and turmoil in the world. I was thinking about how so many of the problems in the world and also our personal relationships stem from our own inability to love others well. There is a sense in which, on a micro and macro level, the “war” outside continues until we’re willing to change on the inside. It was an honor to feature guest vocalist Breanne Düren on the song...I used to hear her voice a lot on Owl City's "Ocean Eyes" record. So it was awesome to have her be a part of it.
