Castelle premieres new single ‘We Don’t Need To Dance’
21-year-old Detroit electronic music artist, Castelle, has unveiled his brand new single, We Don’t Need To Dance, the lead single of his upcoming debut EP, Polychromatic, out soon.

This feel-good single features Philadelphia-based vocalist Nic Hanson and it's super smooth and groovy! Stream it below!

Speaking about the song Castelle said,
We first got in touch with Nic after we heard a track that he did with producer Moonboots called ‘Keep the faith’. We felt his soulful sound would be perfect for this project and he absolutely killed it. I think Nic’s sound combined with the jazzy synths and heavy beat chorus made this a super unique track.
When talking about the album he added,
To me, the word “Polychromatic” {of two or more or of varying colours; multi-coloured} stands for the different music styles and textures I tried to combine for the tracks on the EP. It has influences of jazz, house and bossa-nova mixed together with rich heavy synth driven beats, and that combination made the EP very colorful to me.
Marco Terenzi (Castelle) first discovered electronic music at high school. After years of experimenting in his bedroom studio, Marco found his signature synth heavy indie-electronic sound. And now, the Detroit native is on a mission to put his idiosyncratic, playful style (and city) on the map. He added
Detroit has such a rich music culture, from Motown, to House, Techno and Hip-Hop. These music communities are so deeply rooted in Detroit’s history that my music is still a very unfamiliar territory for most of the people here.
