MALKA releases video for new single ‘Falling’
Scottish experimental alt-pop songstress MALKA has released the video for her new single Falling, the latest song to be taken from her forthcoming second album Ratatatat due out on October 20th through Tantrum Records.

Falling is an empowering indie-pop anthem, which incorporates mesmeric guitars and tribal drum patterns alongside MALKA’s uplifting message. Watch it below!

Regarding the single MALKA says,
What I love most about music is that it can mean one thing to the writer and another to the listener. This song is about not standing in line and ignoring what is going on in the world. But it can equally be about a breakup of a relationship.

Speaking about the video director Lee Bamsey says,
The idea reflects the importance of confronting issues, and talking them though. It emphasises that the art of conversation can easily be lost to a phone or device, which can cause resentment and angst. Talk about things and act on them, instead of wasting your time looking at nonsense on your phone.

MALKA has announced a seven-date UK headline tour in support of Ratatatat, which starts in Edinburgh at Sneaky Pete’s on November 1st and finishes at The Wonder Inn, Manchester on Number 16th. She will headline The Lexington, London on November 14th and has also been announced for We Are Robots Festival, taking place in the capital on November 3rd. Full tour dates can be found below:
