Vella Shares New Single ‘Don’t Mistake This For Love’

Los Angeles-based powerhouse pop vocalist Vella has just released her latest single Don’t Mistake This For Love, a song about suppressing your true sentiments in the pursuit of protecting your heart.

Wow! Goosebumps from start to finish with this stellar vocal performance!!! Written by 16x Grammy nominee and winner Diane Warren, Don’t Mistake This For Love masterfully conveys the battle between body and mind as you try to deny your love for someone. Through Vella’s signature blend of classic soul and pop, she expresses the familiar fear of surrendering your heart and falling in deep, effortlessly demonstrating the mental contradictions present when attempting to stifle physical and emotional passion.

So you all know by now that I ADORE Vella's powerhouse vocal performance and combined with Diane Warren's masterful lyricism, Don't Mistake This For Love is a powerful pop gem with soulful touches. Accompanying Vella's vocals we have punchy beats nicely intertwined with lush piano keys, delicate guitar strums, cinematic strings and an anthemic chorus perfect to sing along to!
