Tori Lord Unveils New Single ‘On Ice’

Canadian artist Tori Lord has just shared her brand new single On Ice, a captivating alt/dark-pop song that explores the frustration of being caught in a cycle of desire and distance with someone who wants all the benefits of intimacy without the responsibility of commitment.

On Ice finds the talented artist calling out the hypocrisy of someone who craves the thrill of being wanted but refuses to show up when it matters. Ultimately it shows her no longer confused by his behaviour, seeing right through it, and calling his bluff. A song that is beautifully conveyed through Lord's expressive vocals which glide confidently over the emotionally-charged pop production. Accompanying her gorgeous vocals and harmonies we have fuzzy electric guitar strums nicely intertwined with punchy drum patterns and rich textures that come together to create an overall passionate listening experience.
