Colleagues Unveil New Single ‘Song 20 (The inevitable outcome of the avoidable)’

Swedish band Colleagues have just unveiled their brand new single Song 20 (The inevitable outcome of the avoidable), a bright indie-pop gem taken from their upcoming album 2030.

The follow up to their sun-soaked gem Weekend, Song 20 (The inevitable outcome of the avoidable) finds the band exploring humanity's relationship with technology and a future where software and collective unity may transform the way people live. Ultimately it questions if this imagined future represents genuine progress or an escape into a world where people become oblivious to reality. A message that is flawlessly conveyed through those smooth, layered vocals which are nicely accompanied by bright synth lines, steady drum beats, captivating keys, groovy rhythms and textures that come together to create an overall warm, feel-good listening experience.
