Colleagues Share New Single ‘Weekend’

Swedish band Colleagues are back with their brand new single Weekend, a sun-soaked indie-pop gem. 

 

The third single to be lifted from their upcoming album 2030, Weekend is an homage to whatever form of recreational escapism suits us best. A laid-back and relatable track about the people in our lives who are exactly who they are, and somehow that's both endearing and exhausting in equal measure. I am really enjoying how effortless and nonchalant the vocal delivery is, gliding beautifully atop the captivating production. 

 

Accompanying those lovely vocals we have bright synth lines nicely intertwined with lush, soaring guitar riffs, steady drum beats and rich textures that come together to create an overall sun-soaked, laid-back listening experience perfect for a relaxing weekend.
