Tessa Violet Shares New Single ‘Bloom’

Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Tessa Violet has just shared her brand new single Bloom, an upbeat, sun-soaked Country/Folk-Pop song. 

 

Out now via TAG Music, Bloom is a song about realising that we can't choose what happens to us, but we can choose what the story means. A joyful, communal song built for singing along, Bloom pairs Tessa Violet's gorgeous vocals with an upbeat, sun-soaked production that instantly got me in a good mood. Accompanying her lovely vocals we have full gang vocals nicely intertwined with lush fiddle, gentle plucks, syncopated drums and rhythms that come together to create an overall blissful, feel-good listening experience.

Speaking about the song, Tessa Violet said,

I wrote “Bloom” after a 10- day silent meditation retreat where I didn't speak, journal, read, or use my phone. I thought it was going to be this peaceful, grounding experience, but it actually brought a lot to the surface. Writing this song was my way of making sense of it all and reminding myself that I don't get to choose where the story goes, but I do get to choose what I make it mean!
