Mija Shares Upbeat Gem ‘Hard Disco’

Berlin-based DJ, producer and vocalist Mija has just unveiled her brand new single Hard Disco, a groovy and upbeat dance gem out now via Hot Meal Records. 

 

The title track of her 4-track EP, Hard Disco finds the talented artist pushing her disco influences into something tougher and more club-focused. Mija wrote, sang, produced and mixed Hard Disco herself from start to finish, keeping the process deliberately hands-on and DIY. The overall result is a collection that puts her own spin on the space between disco, techno, hardgroove and Eurodance. I am loving the energy of this song and how it instantly gave me the urge to get up and dance! Her smooth vocals are nicely accompanied by a groovy bassline that is seamlessly intertwined with killer rhythms, disco elements, bright synths and upbeat touches that make this quite a blissful and enthralling listening experience.
