Obed Padilla Releases New Single ‘I DON'T GET HIGH ANYMORE’

Chicano singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Obed Padilla has just unveiled his brand new single I DON'T GET HIGH ANYMORE, the first new release following his RODEO CLOWN - ACT 1 EP, which arrive earlier via Big Family Music. 

 

The opening chapter of a new project, I DON'T GET HIGH ANYMORE is a laid-back cut that finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his smooth, swooning vocals and storytelling abilities which glide over an upbeat yet mellow instrumental, with the easy warmth of the arrangement giving the song its sense of openness. This is an introspective song about emotional numbness and the inability to feel that spark of joy or escapism that used to come so easily. A reflective and relatable song about searching for a feeling you've lost and not quite knowing how to find your way back to it.
