VAVO x Dan Caplen Share New Single ‘Brotherman’

Billboard charting Dance/Pop duo VAVO, consisting of Vancouver native Jesse Fischer and London born Alden Martin, have teamed up with Brixton-born singer, songwriter and musician Dan Caplen to deliver their brand new single Brotherman, a foot-stomping, feel-good EDM cut. 
 
Out now via KESS Records, Brotherman is a tribute to brotherhood, solidarity and the simple act of showing up for someone who is struggling under the weight of the world. A soulful and uplifting song about reminding the people you love that they are not alone and that everything is going to be alright. A message beautifully conveyed through Caplen's gorgeous, powerful vocals which glide passionately over the high-energy, upbeat production that is giving me Avicii vibes. Apart from those gorgeous vocals we have lush guitar plucks, punchy beats, killer bass, bright, shimmering electronic elements and synths that burst into an explosive, anthemic, feel-good chorus!

 

 
Speaking about the song, VAVO said,
I seriously can’t wait to release ‘Brotherman!’ The way people around the world embraced ‘Lose You Tonight’ was one of the most special moments of my career so far. I’ve had plenty of viral remixes, but seeing what happened around an original is way more exciting. Because of that, it was a no-brainer that Dan and I would team up again to make the official follow-up. I also want to mention that this year I decided to mainly focus on my original music. I’ve been blessed to have many viral remixes over the past few years, but my goal in life is to create my own original records that inspire people and make them feel. I’m committed to bringing back big melodies and not worrying about trends but rather making music that’s true to me as a person and an artist. I’ll still have my YEEDM remixes in the mix, but I have a lot more to offer on the original side.
