American artist Pool Girl has just shared her brand new single Crab, a chilled out indie-pop gem. 

 

The follow up to her sun-soaked cut Call It What You Want, Crab is the second offering from her forthcoming debut album, Melancholic Beach Town, arriving August 28. 

 

Inspired by her identity as a true Cancer, Crab explores the tension between retreating inward and stepping into the spotlight - a push and pull that mirrors the vulnerability of making art. I am loving how dreamy and delicate her vocals are, effortlessly infusing the song with an ethereal touch that is paired with a glow and sun-soaked feeling of a European summer.
