Alexa Kate Shares New Single ‘good for long’

American singer and songwriter Alexa Kate has just shared her brand new single good for long, a warm and delicate piece of music out now via Groundwork Records.

The follow up to June's captivating pop gem The Aftermath, good for long is a delicate song about the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop, even when everything is going right. It's a candid and relatable portrait of someone who has been hurt so many times that they start grieving a good thing before it's even gone. An emotional pop song built around vulnerability and quiet anxiety, showcasing the exhausting work of trusting happiness when experience has taught you not to.

This relatable storytelling is flawlessly conveyed through Alexa Kate's smooth, dreamy vocals which glide effortlessly over steady drum beats, lush guitar plucks, warm rhythms and textures that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for introspective moments home alone.
