Jay Denton Shares New Single ‘A Man's Gotta Choose’

Los Angeles-based songwriter/producer/artist Jay Denton has just unveiled his brand new single A Man's Gotta Choose, a high-energy, foot-stomping indie-pop/folk song. 

 

Out now on Endure Studios, A Man's Gotta Choose follows last month's cinematic alt-pop gem Follow The Lies, and finds the talented artist gifting us with an anthemic and passionate song that instantly got me excited to want to share it with you guys. A Man's Gotta Choose is a song about deciding to live fully from the heart despite the cost. It highlights how in our lives we have the option to drown difficult times in distractions, news, etc, or to take those hurts and face them head on instead of running away from it. A rich and deeply felt song about the bravery of choosing to feel everything, even when it tears you apart. 

 

This message is beautifully conveyed through Jay Denton's rich, expressive vocals which glide passionately over the infectious blend of indie-pop, folk and pop-rock elements. Apart from his stellar vocal performance, I am particularly fond of the foot-stomping beat and how it is nicely intertwined with handclapping sounds, intricate acoustic guitars and banjo plucks, whistling tones, lush strings and an infectious chorus perfect to sing along to.
