Jay Denton Unveils New Single ‘Follow The Lies’

Los Angeles-based songwriter/producer/artist Jay Denton has just unveiled his brand new single Follow The Lies, an epic and cinematic piece of alt-pop music out now on Endure Studios. 

 

The follow up to his heartfelt pop gem Collateral Damage and the upbeat Lost With You, Follow The Lies was written to be the theme/opening credits song for the show "The Cascade Effect" and finds the talented artist telling a story about the cost of seeking truth in a world built on comfortable deception. It's a song about following the lies as a way of guiding you to find what's real. A song fully produced and written by Denton alone which pairs his rich, passionate vocals with a dramatic and cinematic production featuring lush, emotive piano keys nicely intertwined with rich electronic textures, killer guitars and punchy beats that come together to create an overall moody and enthralling listening experience.

Speaking about the song, Jay Denton said,

I got the honor of writing the theme song and opening credits montage for the show "The Cascade Effect" and dug deep into the theme of the price of searching behind the curtain and beautiful veneers in the world around us to find the often not-so-pleasant truths that lie beneath. I wrote and produced this song solo with a lot of time in the woods and in the studio hashing it out piece by piece, note by note, and track by track the old fashioned way. I hope you enjoy....
