Cursing Drop New Single ‘Talk’

Los Angeles-based Alt-Indie/rock duo Cursing, made up of Max Biebuyck and Skyler Leon, have just shared their brand new single Talk, an upbeat alt-rock song.
Written by both Biebuyck and Leon and produced by Timothy Brown, Talk is a high-energy song about how people communicate, inviting listeners to reflect, but never at the cost of momentum. I am loving the energy of the song and how passionate the vocal delivery is, soaring beautiful and condidently over the captivating production. Talk's strong melodic hook and layered vocals are accompanied by electrified guitar riffs and a propulsive rhythm section leaning into a gritty yet polished soundscape that reflects their artistic growth. There’s a rawness in the delivery that contrasts beautifully with the track's tight, almost danceable structure, giving it a duality that keeps it engaging from start to finish. This is one of those songs that I would play when I want an extra boost of confidence and energy, but also to simply blast in a crowded room and get everybody dancing and in a good mood in no time.
Speaking about the song, the band said,
At its core, it’s really just about how people communicate; to themselves, to one another, and about others. With an underlying idea of how intention and words alone don’t change circumstance.
