TENDER Share New Single ‘Heavy’

British duo TENDER, consisting of James Cullen and Dan Cobb, share their brand new single Heavy, a smooth and soothing indie-pop/rock gem.

Taken from their upcoming fourth studio album, Where The Waves Break, set for release on June 4 June 2026 via Nettwerk, Heavy sets the tone for an album that explores the push and pull of opposing emotional forces, from certainty and contentment to doubt and restlessness. This is a song about going through an identity crisis when in the prime of our life, a relatable storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through those dreamy, soothing vocals which exude raw emotion and soul. Accompanying these smooth vocals we have a chilled-out indie-pop/rock production featuring killer guitar riffs nicely intertwined with captivating beats, groovy rhythms and rich textures that together make this quite a memorable and enthralling listening experience perfect for a laid-back weekend!

Speaking about the song, TENDER said,

[It’s about] having a crisis of identity when you’re in the prime of your life. 1st world problems. Wanting everyone to feel sorry for you when you have everything you need to be happy but refuse to be.
