Boy Sim Shares New Single ‘Cloud Nine’

Los Angeles-based rising hyper-pop artist Boy Sim has just shared his brand new single Cloud Nine, an upbeat cut that turns post-breakup denial into euphoric hyper-pop magic.
Cloud Nine finds the talented artist exploring the tension between genuine happiness and performing it until the feeling begins to seem real. It captures the moment when the rose-coloured glasses come off, and the harsh reality behind a once-idealised relationship is revealed. Ultimately shows him breaking free from the all-consuming, love-bombing he's tethered to and finally reclaim cloud nice for himself.
A relatable song that is beautifully conveyed through his smooth, confident vocals which are accompanied by a pulsating electronic beat, driving pop-punk guitars and an anthemic chorus perfect to sing along to.
Speaking about the song, Boy Sim said,
'Cloud Nine' is about that weird period after a breakup when you start performing happiness so convincingly that it almost becomes real, yet you keep finding yourself talking about them. I wanted the chorus to feel almost absurdly sweet and euphoric, like I’m manifesting a perfect life out loud, even if part of me still isn’t really sure I believe it.
