Louis Torre Unveils New Single ‘pity party’

American singer and songwriter Louis Torre unveils his brand new single pitty party, a cinematic alt-pop confession.

What I like the most about this song is its warmth and how raw and vulnerable his storytelling is, flowing beautifully over an intimate production. pity party finds the talented artist diving into a cycle of intrusive thoughts, self-sabotage, and emotional spiralling, while trying to hold it together until you stop pretending all is fine and you turn the spotlight on it and own the mess. A relatable storytelling about feeling stuck in one's own negativity, isolating themselves and leaning into victimhood instead of confronting their own pain.

A self-aware portrait of struggling with mental health that is flawlessly conveyed through Louis Torre's expressive, heartfelt vocals which are accompanied by gentle guitar strums that are nicely intertwined with steady beats, lush strings and rich textures that together create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere perfect for an introspective weekend alone.

Speaking about the song, Louis Torre said,
“Pity Party” started as a private journal entry that I almost didn’t turn into a song. I had this image of being on a stage, smiling through it, while everything underneath was cracking—so I wrote from that exact contradiction: wanting to be seen, but being scared of being seen. The verses came first, quiet and conversational, like I’m talking to myself in the mirror. Then I built the chorus to feel like the curtain opens—big strings, stacked harmonies, and a lift that hits like a release. It’s vulnerable, a little darkly funny, and painfully human.
