Patience Please Drop New Single ‘Madelaine’

West London-based indie pop trio Patience Please (Fronted by Ollie Palmer on vocals and guitar, with Arthur Marriott on Lead guitar and Tommy Lane on Drums) release their brand new single Madelaine, a deeply personal reflection on first heartbreak.

Taken from their forthcoming debut EP due February via Stray Music, Madelaine is an intimate, stripped-back offering that emerged from a rare moment of openness and vulnerability. It beautifully captures the ache of being left behind while still holding onto hope, reflecting the confusion one feels and the longing for clarity. A message flawlessly conveyed by Ollie Palmer's stellar vocal performance which radiates raw emotion and soul from start to finish. Accompanying his gorgeous vocals we have gentle guitar plucks nicely intertwined with steady drum beats and strings that together make this quite a warm, emotionally-charged listening experience perfect for a reflective day home alone!

Lead singer Ollie Palmer said about the single,
This song was written in a relaxed, open, and vulnerable state, where I felt free to spill my thoughts onto the page without judgement. It came from my first experience of heartbreak, a heady mix of confusion, hope and despair colliding at once. Those emotions naturally shaped the lyrics, leaving them simple and honest, allowing the music that followed to remain raw and uninhibited.
