This is a song for the girlies getting ready for a night out, or when they’re in the clurrrb! It’s about having a good night out despite running into an ex-fling. I wanted to play around with the concept of “Say my Name” by Destiny’s Child and take the power back by saying “please don’t say my name when you see me in the club looking good. You missed your chance” type vibe. As always, I want my girlies to stand on business and know their worth by walking away from a situation that no longer reflects their growth. Often when we’re “Faded” on a night out, we’re so tempted to rebound back to an ex fling. This is an anthem championing not doing that and enjoying the night with your girls! Sing it with all your heart knowing that no matter what you’ll always rise above whatever situation you’re going through.
