With this track, I want to encourage people to acknowledge and embrace the natural hesitation that comes with vulnerability - it’s okay to proceed slowly when the stakes of the heart are high. A lot of the time my songs are inspired by what type of music I’m listening to. This helps me keep versatile and also allows me to always challenge myself into keeping fresh. This particular song was inspired by Leon Thomas’ Crash & Burn and also Mary J Blige Here with Me. As always, I hope to inspire and allow my audience to have fun singing along to this amazing record. It was fun to write and fun to come up with the video concept. So I’d hope that my supporters have fun listening to it and also singing along to it.
