Canadian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Storm has just shared his brand new single 2 Selves, a sombre lofi R&B track oozing with melancholy. 

 

Now this is one of those types of songs that I fall in love with right from the start as I am a very melancholic and introspective person and the way Matt creates such a heartfelt, yet soothing, piece of music is simply a pleasure to experience. His smooth, emotionally-charged vocals glide nonchalantly over the intimate production, instantly drawing my attention to his relatable story of longing for another and battle with conflicting emotions. 2 Selves finds the talented artist lamenting over an emotional piano-based melody, creating such a laid-back and melancholic atmosphere that won me over from the start and got me excited to share this deep listening experience with you guys! This is one of those songs I'd play whenever I want to feel something and just be in my own melancholic bubble for a while!
