Annika Catharina Shares New Single ‘Bandit’
Canadian country artist Annika Catharina shares her brand new single Bandit, a gorgeous Country song packed with a lot of heart and soul.
Written by Amanda Couture and the song’s producers The Renaissance (Dan Botch and Garrett Ward), Bandit finds Annika beautifully showcasing her powerful, heartfelt vocals and layered harmonies alongside a rousing steel guitar. I adore her vocals which effortlessly captured my attention from the start, packed with so much soul and emotion that just made me want to play it over and over again. The production is extremely polished and infectious with the rousing steel guitar being seamlessly intertwined with steady drum patterns, cool rhythms and a memorable chorus that together create such a warm atmosphere perfect for those summer road trips ahead.

To me, ‘Bandit’ is about wanting and desire. It speaks to the things we do for love, but in a cheeky and fun style. When I heard the demo for the first time, I fell in love. To bring it to life with The Renaissance, we worked hard to create an experience that could transport listeners into the moments that the ‘bandit’ is describing throughout the song.
