The Satellite Station, the moniker of American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Rue, is back with his brand new single Reveries, a 60s/70s-inspired indie-pop song!
What I like the most about this song is Rue's stunning, passionate vocals which exude so much soul and emotion that is impossible not to feel each and every single word he is singing. Reveries is a song about doing the thing that scares you, an empowering song wrapped around a memorable production heavily inspired by 60s and 70s singer-songwriters. Apart from his gorgeous vocals and honest storytelling, I am particularly fond of the echoing harmonies, soaring guitar riffs and punchy drum patterns that together create a high-energy, feel-good atmosphere with a timeless touch!
