Co-written and co-produced by Kristen and her longtime collaborator Marcus Ramsay, Lazy Sunday is a chill pop gem that finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing her rich, soulful vocals over a minimalist R&B-influenced contemporary pop production. The song effortlessly embodies the epitome of a laid-back Sunday, enjoying the day before another week starts. Apart from her gorgeous vocals and harmonies, I am particularly fond of the killer bass seamlessly paired with lush guitar plucks and percussive elements that create such a warm, comforting atmosphere perfect to relax and unwind after a stressful day.

This song is about the serene, simple pleasures of a Sunday morning and slipping away into indulgence and calm before the reality of another week sets in. Thematically, I think it describes a very relatable human experience of basking in bliss before the ‘Sunday scaries’ arrive.
