Justine Blanchet Shares New Single ‘First Love’

Canadian singer and songwriter Justine Blanchet has just shared her brand new single First Love, a captivating Country song with adult contemporary/pop influences.

Written by Emma-Lee, Blake Bollinger and Claire Wright, and produced in Nashville by Grammy-nominated Danick Dupelle (Tebey, Tyler Joe Miller, Matt Lang), First Love is a relatable song that finds the talented singer singing about loving someone and never being their first love. A message flawlessly conveyed through Blanchet's rich, powerful vocals which are also accompanied by Ben Chase's expressive vocals, both gliding effortlessly over the upbeat production. I am loving the twangy guitar riffs seamlessly paired with steady drum patterns and infectious pop melodies that together create a warm listening experience packed with heart and soul.

In speaking about First Love, Justin Blanchet says,
I was drawn to record this song because it’s more emotional than the title might suggest. It’s really about the longing, sadness, and doubt that can arise from loving your significant other but knowing you aren’t their first love. It was relatable to me because I think there’s something very precious about being someone’s first love.
