Temme Scott Shares New Single ‘Softly’

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Temme Scott shares her brand new single Softly, a lovely indie-pop song about being scared to fall out of love.

Out now via Tone Tree Music, Softly finds the talented artist singing about realising that one's feelings have change but they do all they can to hold onto whatever is left of a relationship as they are scared to be the ones to eventually leave. This sort of anti-love song is very relatable and is beautifully delivered through Temme Scott's rich, emotive vocals that exude so much feeling that is impossible not to feel each and every single word she is singing. Backing her honest, heartfelt delivery we have delicate piano keys that are nicely paired with cool percussive elements and guitar riffs that together create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere. Check it out below!

Temme says on the track,
I guess this is my anti-love song — I wrote it about being scared to fall out of love with someone who I really cared about. ‘Softly’ navigates the feeling of wanting to hold onto what you still have left with someone, and hoping they’ll keep you from telling them if your feelings change. I wanted to explore holding onto whatever shred of a relationship is left while being scared that you’re the one who will eventually leave.
