Nashville-based indie-folk duo Foreign Fields, consisting of Eric Hillman and Brian Holl, return with Damages, their first new song in two years! 

 

Out now on Nettwerk Music, Damages is a dreamy, ambient indie-folk gem that finds the duo showcasing smooth, soothing vocals and haunting harmonies that effortlessly draw our attention to their relatable storytelling. Apart from the vocals, I am particularly fond of the gentle piano line throughout the song and how it is seamlessly paired with steady drum beats, subtle guitar plucks and ambient rhythms that together create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a reflective day home alone.
