Blair Davie Shares New Single ‘Edge Of A Feeling’
Following on from the rousing response for their previously unveiled singles To Miss You, Lovely and Found My Person, Scottish singer-songwriter Blair Davie (they/them) returns with their brand new single Edge Of A Feeling, the latest single to be taken from their eagerly-awaited new EP It’ll Be Lovely, which is out now through Watercolour Heart.
An effervescent alt-pop gem, Edge Of A Feeling explores themes of struggling with anxiety and how it stops us from living freely. The song is a way of encouraging us to push through and not allow anxiety to stop us from living and doing what we love. This relatable message is beautifully conveyed through Blair Davie's passionate vocals which are backed by soaring guitar riffs, cool rhythms and punchy drum patterns that create an overall high-energy, feel-good atmosphere. Like so many people I know, I’ve struggled with anxiety for a long time. It constantly makes me live in fear of the worst-case scenario coming true and has stopped me from living freely. 'Edge Of A Feeling' is about trying to live through that anxiety and not letting it stop you being present and doing what you love. It’s diving head first into the things that scare you and coming out stronger for it.
