The Coronas Share New Single ‘The Lakes And Sometimes Heroes’

Irish indie-pop band The Coronas are back with their brand new single The Lakes And Sometimes Heroes, an upbeat, sun-soaked indie-pop/rock song.

Out now via So Far So Good, The Lakes And Sometimes Heroes is a nostalgic look at the past, a relatable song beautifully delivered through lead singer Danny's expressive and passionate vocals. Apart from the raw emotion pouring from his vocals, I am really fond of the upbeat production that pairs intricate, jangly guitars with lively drum patterns and organic instrumentation and rhythms that together create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a long drive during a hot summer's day. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, lead singer Danny said,
The title of the song is a reference to ‘The Lakes Of Pontchartrain’ and ‘Heroes or Ghosts’, two songs that I often get asked to sing at sessions. It’s is a nostalgic look at the past, acknowledging what brought us to this moment and being grateful for the journey. We always really liked the song and can’t wait for fans to hear it.
