Julia K Shares New Single ‘Lie’

Swedish indie pop singer Julia K has just shared her brand new single Lie, a sad, expressive song with profound emotional openness. 

 

Out now via Rexius Records, Lie finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing her heartfelt, sincere vocals and storytelling abilities that caught my attention from the start. Lie reflects Julia’s choice to move on a different path, opening up herself to a different approach, a relatable message that is wrapped around an intimate indie-pop production. Apart from her expressive vocals, I am particularly fond of the guitar melodies throughout the song which are then nicely paired with subtle synths, delicate piano keys and captivating percussive elements that build up in pace and energy to match the emotion pouring from her vocals.
