Patrick Holland Shares New Single ‘Losing Touch’

Montreal-based artist producer and remixer Patrick Holland has just shared his brand new single Losing Touch, a bright and hazy piece of indie-pop music out now via Sinderlyn.

I am really enjoying how smooth and expressive those vocals are, gliding effortlessly over the polished indie-pop production. Taken from his upcoming self-produced debut album, You’re The Boss, which is set to arrive on July 29th, Losing Touch is a relatable song about self-doubt that is wrapped around a catchy and upbeat melody. I am particularly fond of the slick bassline, groovy guitar riffs and bright, hazy synths that create an overall warm, sun-soaked atmosphere perfect for a relaxing summer's day by the beach.

Accompanying the release, Patrick Holland has shared its official music video, directed by Erin O'Connor, which beautifully enhances the song's warmth and introspective vibes. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Patrick Holland said,
This is the most embarrassing song I’ve written. Self satire in the front, with a backdrop of sincerity. After trying and failing to hit the high notes in the chorus on my own, I was saved by Jane taking over for the lead hook. I’m losing touch.
