Seafret Drop Heartfelt New Single ‘Hollow’

Following on from the release of their highly-praised second album Most Of Us Are Strangers in 2020, which saw the duo top one billion streams across all DSPs and YouTube, Bridlington’s finest, Seafret have now returned to deliver their heartfelt new single Hollow.

Out now via Nettwerk, Hollow finds Jack Sedman and Harry Draper effortlessly showcasing their incredible talent for delivering heartfelt pieces of music, instantly winning me over right from the very first listen. I adore Jack Sedman's distinctive tone and how passionate his vocal delivery is, packed with so much emotion that makes us feel each and every single word he is singing. This warm and embracing offering is inspired by the thoughts of losing a loved one, formed in the wake of the pandemic, aiming to conjure a feeling of strength and hopefulness through a blend of rich and uplifting songwriting.

Apart from Jack's gorgeous voice, I am particularly fond of the intricate acoustic guitar riffs and how they are beautifully intertwined with steady drum patterns, delicate piano keys and catchy rhythms that create an overall warm and emotional atmosphere perfect for those days home alone. If you're looking for a song packed with tons of heart and emotion with memorable melodies and stunning vocals, then you'll love Hollow. Check it out below!

Speaking about the new single, the duo’s Jack Sedman explains,
My grandparents have always been the couple my whole family aspire to be. They had basically the perfect package and have always been the foundation in our family. I often wondered what it would be like if we were to lose one of them and how that would be/ how we would cope. This song was inspired by that feeling.
