Tara Nome Doyle Shares New Single ‘Crow’

Following on from the captivating lead single Snail I, which arrived last month, Norwegian singer and songwriter Tara Nome Doyle has just shared her brand new single Crow, which continues the broad and euphoric direction she is pursuing on her upcoming collection.

The latest single to be taken from her forthcoming sophomore album ‘Værmin’ (Vermin in English), set to arrive on January 28th via Modern Recordings, Crow tells the tragic love story of an opposing couple and is wrapped around warm, soothing melodies that won me over from the very first listen. I am loving Tara Nome Doyle's warm and soaring voice which is layered upon a light yet powerful production (with lush strings and killer rhythms) that conjures a rich and textured atmosphere perfect for a laid-back, introspective day at home. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Tara Nome Doyle said,
'Crow' tells the tragic love story of an opposing couple. The 'shadow' (referring to the theories of C.G. Jung) feels harassed, while the 'persona', unsuspecting, rises into naive romantic fantasies. There are many references in the lyrics to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to describe this doomed dynamic.
