Tara Nome Doyle ‘Snail I’

Norwegian singer and songwriter Tara Nome Doyle has just shared her brand new single Snail I, the latest single to be taken from her forthcoming sophomore album ‘Værmin’ (Vermin in English), set to arrive on January 28th.

Out now via BMG Rights Management’s Modern Recordings imprint, Snail I beautifully showcases the vivid and ethereal texture Tara Nome Doyle has developed for herself over the years, making for a wonderfully warm and captivating listen. I am very fond of Tara's sweetly, serene voice which is effortlessly layered over a humbled piano-led composition paired with lush strings that aims to conjure a beautifully rich and progressive aesthetic throughout. I am loving the emotion pouring from her gorgeous vocals and how the song tells a story of getting a type of love she didn't know she needed. If you're into emotive pieces of piano-based music with evocative vocals and an overall warm and intimate atmosphere, then you'll love this song. Check it out below!

Commenting on the new single, Doyle says,
‘Snail I’ is about my experience of receiving the kind of love I didn’t know I needed. A slow kind of love, not the ‘falling in love at first sight’ kind but rather the one you tentatively let yourself sink deeper into every day. Teaching each other to be patient and brave enough to open to a new, shared understanding of life.
