South Florida-based reggae-rock infused band Artikal Sound System, consisting of Chris Montague (guitar), Fabian Acuña (bass), Christopher Cope(keys), Adam Kampf (Drums) and Logan Rex (voalist), have just shared their infectious new single Stayed, out now on Controlled Substance Sound Labs.
I am really enjoying Logan Rex's incomparable, soulful vocals which effortlessly draw the listener's attention to their relatable storytelling. Stayed is a song about a breakup and those moments when you think about your ex and want that familiarity back. The song shares a message of moving on and not give in to those feelings as you are better off without that person. This message is wrapped around a warm R&B production with reggae and pop sensibilities, killer bass and overall chill, laid-back vibes. Check it out below!
