Daddy Squad Shares New Single ‘Day Break’ ft. Saucy Lady

Time to dance! Hot on the heels of his collaboration with Dita Von Teese, Daddy Squad - the new project from Andrew Armstrong - is back with an infectious new single titled Day Break, out now via AAA Battery.

For this song, Daddy Squad teamed up with Japanese/American singer Saucy Lady, whose lovely voals glide beautifully over the polished electronic production that throws back to the golden years of early 90’s French Touch. I am particularly fond of the vintage analogue synths and how they are nicely paired with a filtered hypnotic guitar throughout which infuses the song with a funky touch that I find quite captivating. This is one of those songs that instantly got me in a good mood and wanting to dance, so I hope you feel the same way while playing it!

Accompanying the release, Daddy Squad shares its official music video that features a quirky cut up video of an obscure sci fi, effortlessly enhancing the song's feel-good vibes. Check it out below!

Speaking about the collaboration with Saucy Lady, Daddy Squad said,

I discovered Saucy Lady on a long wander through Spotify, and checked her Instagram and immediately fell in love. The wigs! The retro looks! The attitude! So I got in touch, and sent a backing. She had an idea, and we expanded on it, and Day Break was the result. Collaborating over the internet with people discovered on Spotify is definitely the way forward! This collaboration was so easy and she was great to work with.
