Richard Walters Shares New Single ‘Lowlight’
CaesarLiveNLoud
British singer and songwriter Richard Walters has just shared his brand new single Lowlight, out now via Pilotlights Music.
Taken from his latest EP, Devon or Las Vegas, and produced by Patrick J. Pearson (Grace Lightman, LYR, Dan D'Lion, George Moir), Lowlight is a stunning hymn to dusk and English summer. Recorded directly to tape, it is rich with warmth, wow and plenty of flutter, calling to mind the emotive folk of Nick Drake, John Martyn and early Sufjan Stevens. I am loving the tone of his vocals and how they beautifully convey emotion and vulnerability over the warm and intimate production with touches of melancholia. Check it out below!
